Welcome Aboard
The
USS AARON WARD (DM34)

The third ship to bear this proud name, 
she was Commissioned in October,1944 
and was decommissioned 11 months later 
after being attacked by a swarm of  
Japanese kamikaze aircraft.  
Although she shot down  most of her attackers, 
she took direct hits from 6 planes and two bombs.

This site is dedicated to her crew,
the Aaron Warriors
and especially my uncle
Willis Milton Guyer
